I finally got a chance to play with @perplexity_ai and I can see how this is going to replace search engines for some people. Instead of a bunch of links, you get answers, and the sources they were derived from.

Best part, no ads, but I'm sure that won't last forever.

I'm not sure I trust a single answer, even with sources, over a bunch of random links. When using Google search, I feel like I'm getting "everything", and get to do my own research.

The more I use Perplexity, the more I realize all I want is an answer most of the time.
